Duties:

• Pipe or plate welding projects to fabricate and Install steel pipes and fittings, installation of high pressure steel gas pipes.
• Welds in flat, vertical, or overhead positions
• Uses processes such as gas metal arc, shielded metal arc, and submerged arc welding.
• Interpret drawings and specifications, and perform essential duties and requirements of A.S.M.E. F/W-B, A.S.M.E. F/W-C, and A.S.M.E. F/W-D, API 1104.
• Operates and uses equipment and tools including acetylene equipment, arc welders, abrasive cutting wheels, drills, pipe threads, and forklifts.

Educations:

• High school diploma, or G.E.D. preferred
• One to two years experience in high volume manufacturing preferred

Certifications:

• Must be able to pass a 6G position in either, or a combination of S.M.A.W., S.A.W., G.M.A.W., or, open root, with 705-6 filler metal.
